2 | Unlock bracket (7) and take hazard warning triangle out of bracket | ||
3 | Lift retaining clamp (7a), slide bracket (7) to left (arrow) and remove bracket (7). | ||

17 | Loosen bolts (4) from hinge levers (6) | Unscrew three turns. | |
18 | Lift trunk lid (1) out of hinge levers (6) upward with aid of second person and lay down on suitable subsurface | ||
19.1 | Before painting trunk lid (1) perform seam sealing and after installing, preserve with cavity wax | Only when installing new trunk lid (1). See Paintwork Manual | |
