Injury hazard Windshield wiper mechanism can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases, even sever extremities

Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.

Withdraw ignition key

Remove wiper arm

Open engine hood, raise to vertical position

Remove left air inlet

Remove right air inlet

Remove cover on wiper gear head (1)

Unscrew retaining nuts for wiper system (2)

Unscrew retaining screw for wiper
system (3)

Open retaining clip (4) for rubber
mount (5)

Disconnect wiper motor connector

Remove wiper system

 Limited space, do not damage windshield



Installing

Position wiper system

Connect wiper motor connector

Close retaining clip (4) for rubber mount (5)

Screw in retaining nuts for wiper system (2)

Screw in retaining screw for wiper
system (3)

Install wiper arm
