| Before opening and closing the center door open front and rear door. Center door should be pushed closed | ||

2 | Remove door foils (2) from inner door panel (3) | ||
3 | Completely remove butyl cord (4) remaining on door vapor seal (1) and inner door panel (3) | ||
| Inspect | ||
4 | Check door vapor seal (1) for damage | Replace damaged door vapor seal (1). | |
5 | Check glue pads (5) on inner door panel | Ensure that all glue pads (4 ) are installed with smooth surface and are not loose or damaged. If necessary: | |
Replace glue pads. | |||
The rectangular drain openings (7) on the inner door panel (3) should not be closed. | |||

6 | Install butyl cord (4) on inner door | Inner door panel (3) should be clean, dry and grease-free. See | |

Wrap butyl cord (4) (arrows) around door lock control cable (6) in area of door foil (2). | |||
Glue for butyl cord | |||
7 | Install new door foils (2) on inner door panel (3) | Firmly press door foil (2) to butyl cord (4) with roller. Cut off extending door foil | |

8 | Install door vapor seal (1) on inner door panel (3). | Firmly press door vapor seal (1) to inner door panel (3) with roller. | |
