Remove window guide rail (3) from rear door (2)

Remove rubber seal (6) from front edge of rear door (2)

Unscrew bolts (5) and remove front window guide rail (7) from rear door (2)

Switch on ignition and roll crank window in rear door (8) down to 8 cm (A) from bottom edge of window frame by actuating corresponding switch in driver door

The window should not chafe against the window frame, otherwise the glass and/or the paint on the window frame can be damaged.

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS [EZS] control unit

On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove rubber plug (4) and unscrew

Roll up rear door crank window (8) and lift out of window channel toward front

The window should not chafe against the window frame, otherwise the glass and/or the paint on the window frame can be damaged.

Installation: Completely press rear door crank window downward into mount
