3 | Loosen screws (5) from B-pillar, adjust gap dimension by moving rear door | Loosen screws (5) only until it is possible to move the rear door | |
4 | Loosen screws (3) on inner door panel and adjust rear door contour on hinge side by moving rear door | Loosen screws (5) only until it is possible to move the rear door Door paneling (D) should be flush with front door contour or should be located max. 1 mm deeper | |
5 | Install striker eye (7) | Tighten screws (8) so that it remains possible to move the striker eye (7) | |
6 | Completely close rear door and adjust contour on striker eye (7) by moving striker eye (7) | The door paneling (E) should be flush with rear fender paneling or should extend max. 1 mm. | |
7 | Tighten screws (8) on striker eye (7) | | |
8 | Check contour and fit at window frame (F) in relation to roof paneling and rear pillar, adjust if necessary | The outer contour of the window frame should be flush with the roof paneling. | |
9 | Check door for easy motion |
