Remove/install paneling on B-pillar

1 Upper B-pillar paneling

2 Lower B-pillar paneling

7 Edge guard

4 Seat belt guide bracket

Remove/Install

Remove edge guard (7) from B-pillar on both sides in area of B-pillar paneling.

Installation: Ensure that edge guard (7) is seated properly.

Carefully unclip lower B-pillar paneling (2) from top to bottom

Installation: Check clips (6), replace if necessary.

Remove lower B-pillar paneling (2) upward out of retaining lugs (arrows)

Unclip cap (3) from seat belt guide bracket (4)

Unscrew bolt from seat belt guide bracket (4) and remove seat belt guide bracket (4)

Installation: Ensure that belt is routed properly

Unclip upper B-pillar paneling (1)

Remove upper B-pillar paneling (1) upward out of retaining lug (arrow)

Installation: Check clips (5), replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order

Seat belts/emergency tensioning retractors
