1 Route overhead control panel wiring harness (1) starting at overhead control panel retaining frame (3) as illustrated.
The overhead control module wiring harness (1) has a colored marking (arrow) for the excess length on the overhead control panel retaining frame (3). The marking (arrow) should be located at the edge of the overhead control panel retaining frame (3) as illustrated.
The headliner (2) has a recess for installing the wiring harnesses. The overhead control panel wiring harness (1) must be routed along the left edge of this recess.
2 Glue overhead control panel wiring harness (1) to headliner (1) with approx. 10 cm long strips of adhesive tape at a distance of approx. 5 cm to each other.
The strips of adhesive tape should have a distance of approx. 12 cm to the left exterior contour of the headliner (2).Otherwise, the left windowbag may be restricted.
Press on strips of adhesive tape firmly, otherwise the overhead control panel wiring harness (1) can detach itself from the headliner (2).
