1 Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in areas A to E on outer roof frame (1) on both sides.
2 Drill holes for plug weldings on outer roof frame (1) in areas F and G and grind mating surfaces down to bare metal on both sides.
3 Grind mating surfaces on outer roof frame down to bare metal in areas H to L (1) on one side.
4 Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in area M on outer roof frame (1) on both sides. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

5 Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in areas N and P on inner roof frame (2) on both sides. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
6 Drill holes for plug weldings in area Q on inner roof frame (2) and grind mating surfaces down to bare metal on both sides.
