If reinforcements or sheet metal panels are replaced below side roof paneling, do not drill holes in mating surfaces in this area which is accessible from both sides.

2 Cut side roof paneling (1) in areas A to C on side wall paneling (2).

3 Grind joints and mating surfaces down to bare metal in areas D to F on side roof paneling (1).

4 Drill holes for plug weldings in illustrated areas on side roof paneling (1) and grind mating surfaces down to bare metal on both sides.

5 Grind mating surface down to bare metal in areas G and H on both sides.
6 Drill holes for plug weldings in all other illustrated areas on side roof paneling (1) and grind mating surfaces down to bare metal on both sides.
