1 Cut along dotted line in area A on B-pillar reinforcement (1).
Do not cut too deep to prevent damaging the inner reinforcement. Renders entire B-pillar reinforcement (1) unusable

2 Expose spot welds in areas B to E on upper B-pillar reinforcement (1.1) and cut out
The spot welds in areas B and C can be cut out when removing the side wall paneling
3 Remove upper B-pillar reinforcement (1.1).
