2 Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in areas A to C where reinforcements or sheet metal have been replaced, on both sides.
3 Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in areas A to C where reinforcements or sheet metal have not been replaced, on one side.

4 Grind joints and connection surfaces down to bare metal in areas L and M, on one side.

5 Grind connection surface down to bare metal on rear roof frame in area F, on both sides
6 Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in areas G to K, on one side.
7 Apply sealant to mating surface of tank fitting recess (1).
Ensure that bead applied is sufficiently high.
