Test values for front wheel alignment
L40.20-0047-01
1 Insert wheel alignment equipment (1) with bolt (4) into projector bracket (9) of left front wheel.

2 Turn front end of wheel 20° outwards. Observe scale of turntable (1).

3 Align measuring instrument so that it is horizontal relative to longitudinal axis of vehicle using spirit level and clamp into projector bracket using thumb screw (10).
4 Set knob "Caster" (7) to 0.
5 Turn knob (5) until bubble level (3) is at center.

6 Turn front end of wheel 20° inwards
7 Reposition measuring instrument horizontally using spirit level.
8 Turn knob "Caster" (7) until the bubble level (3) is at center.
9 Read off value on dial for caster measurement at caster measuring point.

10 Perform caster measurement on right front wheel of vehicle in the same way.
The dial for caster measurement is divided into
the measuring ranges "Caster plus" and "Caster minus". The
measuring range "Caster plus" ranges from 0° to +8° . The
measuring range "Caster minus" ranges from 0° to -4°. A graduation line on the dial corresponds to 10'.
