1 Place differential onto assembly mandrel (046) and mount thrust piece (025).

Removing tapered roller bearing inner races from differential

P35.31-0355-02

2 Assemble pulling device (024) with pliers (024a).

3 Pull both tapered roller bearing inner races off the differential using the puller (024)
To do this, push the pulling device (024) completely over the tapered roller bearing inner race and tighten the collet (024a) over the tapered sleeve of the pulling device behind the rollers of the tapered roller bearing inner race.

Mark tapered roller bearing inner races.
