Removing
1 Pull out inner tapered roller bearing, radial shaft sealing ring and PU‑sealing ring from front wheel hub using internal extractor and counter stay.
Clean all parts, check for wear and replace if necessary.

Install
2 Check condition of inner wheel bearing, replace if necessary, thoroughly grease with multipurpose grease and insert.
Observe specified grease amount.
3 Coat outer circumference of new radial shaft sealing ring with sealant and drive in approx. 8 mm below the upper edge of the front wheel hub or below the upper edge of the pole ring on vehicles with ABS using a drift.
Do not apply sealing compound to sealing rings with partially rubberized sealing surfaces.

4 Drive PU sealing ring flush into the front wheel hub or into the pole ring on vehicles with ABS using a drift.
