Lower axle/engine subframe

S31.35-4520-09

1 Remove bolts (1) for fastening the axle/engine subframe (2).

Installation: Tighten bolts (1) to tightening torque.

2 Check threaded holes for bolts (1) for damage, recut thread if necessary. Finally, clean threaded holes for bolts (1) and blow out using compressed air.

3 Screw longer bolts (3) each with two fitted washers (4) into threaded holes.

Observe marking for maximum screw-in depth on
bolts (3).

4 Lower axle/engine subframe (2) approx. 60 mm until the axle/engine subframe (2) makes full contact with the washers (4).

5 Raise and fasten the axle/engine subframe (2) in the reverse order.
