1 | Remove front section of transmission housing | ||
2 | Remove differential (7) from rear section of transmission housing (4) and place to one side | ||
3 | Remove screw (5) of shaft (2) | | |
4 | Pull shaft (2) out of gear wheel for reverse gear (1) | ||
5 | Route gear wheel for reverse gear (1) out of the shift fork (3) and remove from the rear section of the transmission housing (4) | Installation: Ensure that the reverse gear wheel (1) is seated correctly | |
6 | Remove guide (6) from rear section of transmission housing (4) | Installation: Prior to installation, clean and apply light coating of oil to gear wheel for reverse gear (1), shaft (2) and guide (6). | |

7 | Check gear wheel for reverse gear (1), shaft (2) and guide (6) for signs of damage and wear, replace if necessary | If a gear for the reverse gear (1) is damaged or broken then it must be replaced together with the gear wheels it engages with. Refer to: | |
Disassembling and assembling output shaft | |||
Dismantle, assemble drive shaft. | |||
