Removing

1 Pull tapered roller bearing outer race (3) out of the front section of the transmission housing (4) using internal extractor (2) and countersupport (1).

Remove/install tapered roller bearing outer race at front section of transmission housing

Install

2 Position tapered roller bearing outer race (3) on the insertion device (5).

3 Position insertion device (5), as shown, on the front section of the transmission housing (4) and insert the tapered roller bearing outer race (3) using the insertion device (5) all the way.
