1 | Disconnect compressed air line (6) from shift cylinder (3) | Mark compressed air line (6). | |
2 | Remove shift cylinder (3) | Unscrew bolts on shift cylinder up to the last three threads and press out cylindrical actuator (3) using compressed air over the connection range group setting "High speed" (45). | |
3 | Remove O-rings (2, 4) | ||
4 | Detach sealing ring (1) from shift piston (5) | Install shift cylinder (3) with 2 bolts in a crisscross pattern in the transmission and press out the shift piston with compressed-air via the connection "Low-speed" range group setting (44). Detach shift cylinder (3) again. | |
| Installing | ||
5 | Fit new sealing ring (1) on shift piston (5) | Pack space between the two sealing lips with synthetic grease. | |
6 | Fit new O-ring (4) in transmission | Coat O-ring (4) with synthetic grease. | |
7 | Fit new O-ring (2) onto shift cylinder (3) | Coat O-ring (2) with synthetic grease. | |
8 | Install shift cylinder (3) | | |
9 | Install compressed air lines (6) | Observe markings. |
