2 Hose clamp

3 Fuel rail

4 Torx bolt

5 Sealing ring

6 Plug connection of injector

Y62 Injector

Remove/install

Remove air cleaner

Expose electric cable to the injectors (Y62) and separate plug connections (6)

Installation: Replace cable straps. Pay attention to routing of cables.

Risk of explosion if ignition takes place, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling fuel vapors or swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to skin and eyes exposed to fuel.

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Detach fuel line (1) at fuel rail (3) and seal with a suitable plug

Inspect condition of hose clamp (2), replace if necessary.

Unscrew torx bolts (4) and pull fuel rail (3) together with injectors (Y62) out of intake manifold


Replace seals (5) at the injectors (Y62); oil slightly to facilitate installation.

Install in the reverse order
