2 Torx bolt

4 Front crankshaft radial seal

 	Removing/installing
1	Remove engine together with front axle carrier		AR01.10-L-2500VA
2	Detach engine from front axle carrier	 Do not disconnect transmission.	AR01.10-L-2510VA
3	Remove cylinder head cover		AR01.20-L-5014VA
4	Remove vacuum pump		AR43.05-L-1320VA
5	Remove front cover at cylinder head		AR01.30-L-5700VA
6	Remove oil pan
7	Remove belt pulley of vibration damper		AR03.30-L-1700VA
8	Unscrew torx bolts (3) to timing case cover (1)		*BA01.30-P-1002-01F
9	Unscrew torx bolts (2) of timing case cover (1) at crankcase		*BA01.40-P-1005-01E
	Notes on application of sealant to timing case cover	Engines 166.940/960961/990// 991 Engine 668.914/940/ 941/942	AH01.40-P-1000-01D
10	Take off timing case cover (1)	 Detach with rubber-headed hammer, if necessary.
		 Installation: Pay attention to dowel pins (arrows). Clean sealing surfaces. Coat sealing surface to crankcase with sealant. Refer to:

		Loctite sealant 5970	*BR00.45-Z-1013-01A
11	Replace front crankshaft radial seal (4)		AR03.20-P-3000GF
12	Install in reverse order
13	Run engine and inspect for leaks
