Removal, installation

Remove inner engine cover (1)

Remove air cleaner housing

Remove charge air pipe (7)

Remove corrugated pipe (2) of exhaust gas recirculation

Remove oil filler pipe (6)

Detach crankcase ventilation at cylinder head cover

Unscrew bolts (3) of cylinder head cover

The cylinder head cover is attached with self-tapping bolts.

Lift off cylinder head cover (4) together with gasket (5)

Inspect gasket for damage, replace if necessary.

Clean sealing surfaces.

Installation: Pay attention to correct installation of gasket.

Install in the reverse order
