	Removing, installing
1	Withdraw ignition key
2	Separate plug connection at pressure control valve (Y74)	 Precautionary measure so that no fuel is injected

4	Crank engine	 Press contact switch (2) of the compression recorder (1) for this step.  Do not crank engine at the ignition/starter switch (S53).

5	Read fault memory, erase	Stored faults which may be caused by disconnecting cables or by simulation during removal and installation or test work, have to be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work. See  Diagnosis Manual Diesel Engine Volume 1.2
6	Install in the reverse order
