1 Lubricate lock.
Use automatic transmission fluid.
2 Oil hand wheel shaft (1) between ball neck and hand wheel as well as release lever shaft (5).
Use engine oil.

3 Grease guide with locking balls (2), release lever inner surface (3) and guide surface (4).
Use grease or multipurpose grease.

4 Lightly grease ball neck mounting at the points marked with arrows.
