It is possible for a person renting the vehicle to block the DVD drive via a button combination in order to prevent removal of the navigation DVD.
You can block and release the DVD drive via the following buttons:
1) Press "SYS" button.
2) Press "SYS", "*" and "#" buttons simultaneously.
3) The message "Please enter code for blocking the navigation DVD:" appears
4) You can enter any code via the Audio/COMAND control panel or 10-key keyboard (up to 8 positions).
With the 10-key keyboard you can confirm the code entered using the "#" button.
5) "Disc blocked" appears in the display.
6) The message "Eject blocked" appears when the eject button is pressed.
Release:
Blocking can only be canceled via the button combination when the previously entered code is known. If the code is not known the DVD drive can be enabled
using Star Diagnosis.
