Fixed installation telephone (Nokia, D2B technology):
The run-on time is set at 10 min. at the plant. If a button is pressed during this time, the run-on time is increased to one hour.
Fixed installation telephone with Bluetooth handset (Motorola, MOST technology):
The run-on time is set at 15 min. at the plant. If a button is pressed during this time, this run-on time starts again.
The run-on time for the Bluetooth handset can be set to 0, 15 or 30 minutes in the "System Settings" menu.

There are old and new control units:
- The old A 203 820 07 35 control units were installed in the period from 06/00 to 12/00. The run-on time was not adjustable on these units.
- The new A 203 820 70 26 control units are installed as of 12/00. The run-on time can be set to a maximum of 60 min. in the telephone/TELE AID menu using the STAR DIAGNOSIS.

If you use the telephone during this run-on time, the run-on time is restarted after the end of the call.
As of DAS version 09/01, only a maximum run-on time of 30 min. can be set.

Portable CTEL:
The run-on time can be set to a time between 1 and 30 min. via an additional telephone book entry.
In the "Add name" menu section enter the word "run-on time", and in the "Number" section enter a number between "1" and "30".
This telephone book entry must be loaded in the interface, that is,
it must be possible to access it in the instrument cluster (IC) or in the COMAND/radio.
In model 211 the A 211 820 99 26 interface was installed. This interface allows a run-on time of up to 60 min. to be set.
For all other models before Model year 2003 (before interface
A 203 820 25 85 or interface software release before 15/02), a run-on time of up to 60 min. can be set.
On model 211, the run-on time is not restarted if the telephone is used during the run-on time.
On models 211, 215, 220 with the A 211 820 64 85 interface, the MOST ring is no longer woken up in case of an incoming call during the run-on time. This means that any incoming calls during the operator's absence are only visible in the portable CTEL.
