The customer notices that the driving lamps do not switch off during the day, even though the exterior lamp switch is in "zero" position (OFF) or in "Auto" position (automatic function).

Check whether the daytime running lamps are switched on in the instrument cluster

It is possible that during the day the driving lamps are actually switched on in the instrument cluster (daytime running lamps).

Point out this possible setting to the customer.

The rain/light sensor (RLS) itself is functioning correctly, and an exchange is not justified.
