A D2B network tester (D2B-NWT) is available for testing the Digital Data Bus (D2B) in models as of 01.06.98 and future model series. Optical fiber modules and control modules (e.g. cellular telephone, voice control system, Tele Aid, CD changer) can be tested with it. The control modules are tested indirectly, with the D2B installed instead of the control module.
The D2B-NWT is used when testing with the HHT or STAR DIAGNOSIS indicates an optical fault in the D2B.

The tester is supplied as a portable set. The set contains 2 network testers and operating instructions (7 languages),
