For reasons of accumulation of damage cases due to broken glow plugs on the mentioned engines, a new special tool was developed. The special tool enables a reboring of the broken glow plugs and secures the further use of the cylinder head through the insertion of the threaded adapters, in which the new glow plugs are screwed in.

The previously necessary replacement of the cylinder heads because of the broken glow plugs is therefore no longer necessary.

The tool can be immediately ordered under the object number

W 611 589 00 99 00 through the known reference path.

Additionally the repair inserts in package sizes of 10 pieces are available under the object number W 611 589 00 99 25.

All further working and small parts of the set (drill bit, depth gauge, tap, etc.) are also shortly available individually.
