Service Information: Structure of the new operation numbers for SmallRepair in ASRA [operation texts, standard texts, flat rates and work units]

 This is to inform you about the structure and dealing with the operation number group, design group 85 for SmallRepair. The operation number group is published with the WIS/ASRA version 03/2008 and should be used for alternative repair methods.

The operation items (AP) are summarized in the operation number group, design group 85 in ASRA. The operation items are applied with time prescribed by foreperson.

The operation number group KG85 is not released for

warranty- & goodwill cost settlements

The following repair methods are contained in the SmallRepair offer:

 SpotRepair:
Cost-effective repair of minor paint damage.

 Ding elimination:
Dent removal of minor dings without painting, e.g. hail damage.

 Windshield repair:
Repair of stone chipping in the windshield.

 Rim repair:
Painting of minor scratches on painted light alloy disk wheels.

 Interior repairs:
Repairs to seat covers, trim and dashboard.

Use of operation items:

Operation items are intended to give you greater process reliability in the daily service business. The new operation items for small repairs ensure simpler updating as well as universal standardization in the Dealer Management System (DMS). The person responsible for body and paint (K&L) in your company will calculate the repair time and final price to the customer.

Adaptation to design group 85:

The list of operation items in design group 85 was accordingly reduced due to the double allocations in other design groups. Only the

G 67-1400 "Repair windshield (stone chipping) at fixed price" operating item previously listed in design group 67, was transferred to design group 85 under G 85-6700 and then removed from design group 67. These changes mean that the operating items are now only provided once in a family.
