Auxiliary fan, function

Function

The auxiliary fan (M4) is switched on with infinite speed control depending on the refrigerant pressure and/or coolant temperature.

The control module (N22/1) receives the coolant temperature from the ECT sensor (B11/4) via the serial interface (K1) in the instrument cluster (A1) and the refrigerant pressure from the refrigerant pressure sensor (B12).

This input information is relayed on by the control module (N22/1) to the AIR control module (N65/1). Here the input information is compared with stored values and the auxiliary fan (M4) switched on if required.
