Switchover valve, purpose

The switchover valve (Y13) controls the vacuum to the vacuum element for the fresh air/recirculated air flap for actuation of the fresh air/recirculated air flap.

Switchover valve, function

The switchover valve (Y13) is actuated by the recirculated air button ( ) on the pushbutton control module. When power is present, the solenoid valve opens actuating the vacuum element for the fresh air/recirculated air flap.
