MODEL 170 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA)
MODEL 170 with CODE (552a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) for Switzerland
When the anti-theft alarm (ATA) is activated actuation of an exterior contact triggers an alarm.
The exterior contacts are:
Door switches S17/3, S17/4
Trunk lid rotary tumbler/trunk lamp toggle switch (S69/12)
Engine hood switch (ATA) (S62)
The switches (S17/3, S17/4, S69/1 and S62) transmit a ground signal to the PSE control module when doors/trunk lid or hood are open.
I
The prerequisite for triggering an alarm is that the alarm input
on the PSE control module (combined) (A37), to which the corresponding contact is connected, has been armed by activating the ATA.
A triggered alarm can no longer be terminated by resetting the contact, i.e. closing a door opened previously.
