The anti-theft alarm (ATA) is deactivated by

Unlocking the vehicle with the remote control key

Unlocking the vehicle with the mechanical key
(lock switch , only)
Signal: Lock switch (SN 1, 40 Hz)

The PSE control module (combined) (A37) receives the command "unlock vehicle" via the CAN bus and then deactivates all alarm inputs.

In addition the PSE (A37) deactivates the alarm signal siren with additional battery (H3/1) by sending a corresponding command via a separate data line.

The ATA is not deactivated when the vehicle

is unlocked with the interior switch (CL) (S6/1s2).

When the ATA is deactivated, the alarm signal siren with additional battery (H3/1) beeps once as an acoustic signal.

Deactivating the ATA interrupts any previously triggered alarm.

When the vehicle is unlocked with the mechanical key, e.g. when a door is opened, the ATA is triggered if the vehicle was previously locked with the remote control key (except ).
