The interior motion sensor monitors the side windows with infrared light with the aid of transmitter and receiver units. The function is also possible with soft top open.
The anti-towing sensor function monitors the vehicle inclination.
If a break-in attempt is made or the position of the vehicle changes (e.g. by lifting/towing away) the anti-theft alarm triggers an acoustic and optical alarm.
The interior motion sensor and anti-towing sensor functions are activated together with the anti-theft alarm (ATA) when the following prerequisites are fulfilled:
All doors and the glove compartment are closed.
The trunk lid and the engine hood are closed.
The interior motion sensor and anti-towing sensor function was not deactivated before activating the ATA.
