Location
The brake light switch is on the outside right and the 4-pin brake light switch is between the clutch pedal switch and the brake light switch in the driver footwell on the pedal support at the brake pedal.
Task
The brake light switch passes on the status of the brake pedal to the ESP® control unit (N30/4).
The 4-pin brake light switch activates the brake lamps directly via a discrete line.
