Suction valve - location

The suction valve (6) is installed between the pressure and return flow lines and below the fan motor (5).

Suction valve, task

The suction valve (6) (opening pressure
0.5 bar) performs the task of allowing an oil flow to flow from the return flow line to the pressure line and thus to upstream of the fan motor (5) when the fan motor is switched off. This oil stream prevents the fan motor (5) from stopping when switched immediately off and getting damaged.
