Clean outside mirror housing (2).

Detach extending ends of the protective foils (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) approx. 10 mm from the bonding surfaces and press down again lightly.

Fold over ends of the protective foils (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) at an angle of 45°.

Fix protective foils (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) in place on the outside of the mirror cover (1) with adhesive tape.

Ensure that the ends of the protective foils (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) do not extend to the inside of the mirror cover (1) when installing.

Position mirror cover (1) on the outside mirror housing (2).

The mirror cover (1) should make exact contact with or surround the contours of the outside mirror housing (2) particularly at the edges and offsets (arrows A).

Press mirror cover (1) down on the outside mirror housing (2) on the side facing away from the vehicle (arrow B).

Constantly maintain pressure during operation steps 7 and 8.

Unfasten tape and pull off protective foil (3).


While removing protective foil (3), continuously check whether mirror cover (1) makes correct contact.
It is no longer possible to reposition after bonding.

Observe removal direction of protective foil (3).

Press on mirror cover (1) in the area of the adhesive strip.

Unfasten adhesive tape and pull off protective foils (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) in ascending numerical sequence.


While removing the protective foils (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) continuously check whether mirror cover (1) makes correct contact particularly with edges and offsets (arrows A).
It is no longer possible to reposition after bonding.

Observe removal direction of protective foils (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).

Press on mirror cover (1) in the direction of the inner edges starting from the side facing away from the vehicle (arrow B).


When pressing on, press directly on adhesive strips on mirror cover (1).
Otherwise there may be adhesion problems.

Remove adhesive residues of the tape from the mirror cover (1).


Avoid any contact with moisture (e.g. rain, fog, frost, washer system) or any mechanical stress within the first 24 h.
Otherwise the adhesive force starts to decrease.


Do not polish mirror cover (1).
Otherwise the surface can be damaged.

The maximum adhesive force is reached after approx. 72 h at 20 °C.
