1 Cut coolant hoses (3a, 4 ) as shown in figure.
2 Pull 500 mm long heat protective hose (e) over coolant feed hose (4) 100 mm after straight end.

3 Route coolant feed hose (4) with straight end through recess in acoustic insulating wall and fasten to heater (A6) circulation pump with hose clamp.
4 Install 500 mm long heat protective hose up to 180° elbow of coolant return hose (3) in front of heater (A6).
5 Route coolant hoses into engine compartment through cutout in acoustic insulating wall.

6 Fasten coolant hoses (3, 4) to present screw (see arrow) with a rubber-coated pipe clamp.
7 Protect vehicle's own bottom coolant hose against chafing on coolant hoses (3, 4) with spacer ring (20).

8 Route coolant hoses (3, 4) into engine compartment as shown in figure.
9 Install heat protective hoses (e) in area of right wheelhouse and between component compartment wall and engine.

10 Fasten coolant hoses (3, 4) to present stud bolt (see arrow) below coolant expansion reservoir with rubber-coated pipe clamp and collar nut.

11 Route coolant hoses (3, 4) to heat exchanger inlet (b) as shown in figure.
12 Fasten coolant hoses (3, 4) to present stud bolt with rubber-coated pipe clamp (see left arrow) and replace present plastic nut with collar nut.
13 Fasten coolant hoses (3, 4) to cable duct (see right arrow) with cable strap.

14 Remove coolant hose (2) from engine outlet to heat exchanger inlet (b).
15 Cut coolant hose (2) as shown in figure and fasten 20/20 mm connector to remaining piece of coolant hose (2) with pipe clamp.

16 Fasten coolant hose (2) and coolant feed hose (4) with 20/20 mm connector and one hose clamp each.
17 Connect section of coolant hose (3a) with 90° elbow to heat exchanger inlet (b) and fasten with hose clamp.
