1 Cut exhaust line (14) and exhaust end section (14a) as shown in section A in figure.

2 Install four red spacers (20) on exhaust line (14) as shown in figure.
Exhaust line (14) routed from left to right, coming from muffler (21) and ends at heater (A6).
3 Position pipe clamp (16) between both right spacers around exhaust line (14), install on bracket with M6x20 mm screw and collar.
4 Route exhaust line from heater (A6) to left wheelhouse toward front of vehicle.
5 Fasten exhaust line (14) to heater fitting (A6) with pipe clamp (16).
6 Unclip present wiring harness from upper frame cross member and fasten bracket (16a) with pipe clamp (see bottom figure) with M6x20 screw and collar nut.
7 Fasten removed wiring harness to bracket with cable strap.
Position red spacer (20) so that exhaust line (14) does not make partial contact.

8 Mark center for right hole for exhaust muffler mount (15) 35 mm toward front of vehicle from present screw on longitudinal member (see arrow in magnified section).
9 Use exhaust muffler (15) as template and mark second hole.
10 Drill out marked hole with 7 mm dia. bit and fasten mount (15) to exhaust muffler (21) with one M6x20 screw each and collar nut to longitudinal member.
11 Fasten exhaust muffler (21) to mount (15) with M6x20 mm screw and collar nut.

12 Route exhaust line (14) to exhaust muffler (21) as shown in figure and fasten with pipe clamp.
13 Pull red spacer (20) over exhaust end piece (14a).
14 Fasten exhaust end piece (14a) to exhaust muffler (21) with pipe clamp and align as shown in figure.

15 Cut out left inner wheelhouse paneling (50) for exhaust line passage (shaded area).

16 Route inner wheelhouse paneling (50) to installation location, check for fit, modify if necessary and mark hole for exhaust line end piece (14a).
17 Drill 50 mm dia. hole for exhaust line end piece (14a) on bottom of inner wheelhouse paneling (50) (see single figure on top right).
18 Route spacer (20) for exhaust line around intake hose as shown in figure.
19 Align red spacer (20) on exhaust line end piece (14a) as shown in figure section.
