Always install GPS-GSM module with inscription facing upwards to ensure optimum satellite reception.
1 | Drill two bores (1) with Ø 6 mm. |
Make the distance between the holes (2) slightly larger than the width of the GPS-GSM module. |
2 | Connect electrical wiring harness from parts kit to GPS-GSM module. |
3 | Slide in GPS-GSM module from below through the cutout for the instrument panel switch module 1 (A44) (arrow) and fasten to installation location using cable tie (2). |
The electrical connector of the wiring harness must face towards the Truck Control Center (TCC) (A9). |
4 | Route electrical wiring harness under the location position from the Truck Control Center (TCC) (A9) and towards sensor and actuator module, cab (SCA) control unit (A7). |
