The document must be requested from the commercial vehicle workshop service of DaimlerChrysler Sales Organization Germany (DCVD/KN), tel. ++ 49 (0)190/812798, fax ++ 49 (0)190/812799 and handed to the customer.

Enter equipment code (Q49) trailer hitch with removable ball neck in vehicle documentation system (FDOK).

Germany only: with engine 668.914 up to VIN end no. 219022 with code (G40) automatic transmission, allow trailer hitch to be inspected at inspection center / Technical Inspection Association (TÜV) and entered in vehicle registration papers.
