Remove/install

Disconnect ground line at the on-board electrical system battery

Loosen adhesive film at front door inner door panel until side deployment pressure sensor (1) is accessible

Release (arrow A) and disconnect electrical connector (2)

Release side deployment pressure sensor (1) counterclockwise (arrow B) and remove from inner door panel

Install in the reverse order

Check

6

Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) with diagnostic system

If side deployment pressure sensor (1) has been replaced.
