Disconnect battery ground line

Remove rear headliner

Remove front headliner

Remove screw/bolt (4) at front check strap (3)

 Check strap screw/bolt

Disconnect electrical connector (5) at left front windowbag squib (R12/14) or right front windowbag squib (R12/15)

Remove screws/bolts (6) at bracket (7)

 Bolt, left and right windowbag retention system mount

Disconnect electrical connector (8) at left center windowbag squib (R12/18) or right center windowbag squib (R12/19)

Unscrew bolts (9) from bracket (10)

 Bolt, left and right windowbag retention system mount

Remove screws/bolts (11) at bracket (12)

 Bolt, left and right windowbag retention system mount

Remove screws/bolts (13) at bracket (14)

 Bolt, left and right windowbag retention system mount

Disconnect electrical connector (15) at left rear windowbag squib (R12/22) or right rear windowbag squib (R12/23)

Remove screw/bolt (16) at rear check strap

 Check strap screw/bolt

Loosen all clamps (2) and remove windowbag (1)

 Helper required.

Install in the reverse order



Check

15

Connect diagnostic system and check supplemental restraint system (SRS)

If windowbag (1) was replaced.


