1 | Remove cover from front seat cushion of front passenger seat | ||
2 | Remove front module (2) from fiber mat (1) | ||
3 | Remove mounting clips (3) from front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition sensor (B48) | Carefully remove mounting clips (3) to prevent damaging the front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition sensor (B48). A damaged or kinked front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition sensor (B48) must be replaced. | |
4 | Remove front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition sensor (B48) from fiber mat (1) | Installation: Place front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition sensor (B48) on center of fiber mat (1) and align. | |
5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
6 | Check supplemental restraint system (SRS) with the aid of STAR DIAGNOSIS | Only when the front passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition sensor (B48) has been replaced. | |
