| Remove/install | ||
1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||
2 | Disconnect battery ground line | ||
3 | Remove seat-back lining from seat backrest | ||
4 | Unscrew nuts (1) | Nut, sidebag to seat frame | |
5 | Remove ground line (2) | ||
6 | Release and disconnect electrical connection (3) | ||
7 | Remove the sidebag unit (4) toward the rear | ||
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||

9 | Check and erase vehicle fault memory using diagnostic system | When replacing sidebag unit (4). | |
