Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Disconnect battery ground line

Remove door lining from left or right front door

Model 140 as of 6/1/97

Drill out rivets (1) of sidebag unit

Remove sidebag unit (2)

Release and disconnect electrical connection

7

Install in the reverse order



Check

8

Check and erase vehicle fault memory using diagnostic system

When replacing sidebag unit (2).


