Remove/install

Switch on ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)

Disconnect ground line at battery

Cover door sill and door sill molding with door sill protector



Remove glove compartment (1)

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (2) from front passenger airbag (4)

Unscrew nuts (3)

 Nut, front passenger airbag unit to instrument panel

Remove front passenger airbag (4)

Install in the reverse order



Check

9

Check and erase vehicle fault memory using diagnostic system

When replacing the front passenger airbag (4).


