Remove/install

Adjust steering column upward.

Adjust driver seat to the rear.

Disconnect ground line from battery.

Detach trim under driver-side instrument panel far enough to enable the driver kneebag (3) to be removed.

Remove screws (2) and lower driver kneebag (3) until electrical connector (4) is accessible.

 Bolt, knee airbag to crossmember

Release and disconnect electrical connector(4).

Remove driver kneebag (3).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.

When replacing driver knee airbag (3).


