Remove/install

Open engine hood

Disconnect battery ground line

Remove glove compartment (1)

Disconnect electrical connector from front passenger kneebag squib

 Installation: The electrical connector at the front passenger kneebag squib must audibly engage when attached.

Remove bolts (3)

 Bolt, front passenger airbag to bracket

Remove front passenger kneebag (2) towards left from glove compartment

Install in the reverse order



Check

8

Check supplemental restraint system (SRS) using STAR DIAGNOSIS

After replacing front passenger kneebag (1).

9

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory


