| Remove/install | ||
1 | Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery. | ||
2 | Detach ground line from additional battery. |

3 | Remove vehicle interior signal acquisition and actuation module. | ||
4 | Unclip CPC control unit (5) from holder (6) and remove from working area with electric lines attached. | ||
5 | Remove bracket (6). | ||
6 | Unscrew bolts (2). | Screw, airbag/seat belt tensioner control unit to mounting support | |
7 | Unscrew nut (3). | Nut, airbag/seat belt tensioner control unit to mounting support | |
8 | Remove airbag/seat belt tensioner control unit (1) until the electrical connectors (4) are accessible. | ||
9 | Disconnect electrical connectors (4) and remove airbag/seat belt tensioner control unit (1). | ||
10 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
11 | Commission airbag/seat belt tensioner control unit (1). | When replacing airbag/seat belt tensioner control unit (1). | |

12 | Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system. | When reusing airbag/seat belt tensioner control unit (1). | |
